We loved it! The new young Chef and owner of La Forge cause a sensation opening in summer 2020, with locals booking tables quickly to enjoy the wonderful cuisine, in the beautiful village of Fountain Daniel.  "I want my restaurant to become one of the best tables in the Mayenne department." William Blondel is chasing his first Michel Star we recommend you book a table.

London-style pub offers a wide selection of beers, cocktails, soft drinks, coffees and wines. In a warm atmosphere with music, terrace, sport and after work evening. Fabulous local venue just a brief stroll down the road from us. It’s popular with locals as well managed and stunning service. Great wine list, and platters of food to keep you happy for a evening out. A beautifully run business, well thought out and a great addition to the offerings in the heart of Mayenne.

Mon to Fri new lunch menu daily 3 courses 13,50 euros. 

A great favourite with us & our guests, 6km drive into a picturesque village budget to med priced, very friendly and the menu of regional savoury Galettes & dessert crepes. Regular menu to suit all appetites. The great wine list. The most popular restaurant destination for our guests, we enjoy dining here often.

Traditional restaurant nestled on the edge of a lake,  with a panoramic view of a woodland.  Located in Deux-Evailles between Montsûrs and Jublains in the heart of Mayenne.  Perfect for romantic meals with an after-dinner walk. Located in a restored old mill, the chef cooks local seasonal products.  4 starters, and 4 tailor-made mains, that will make your taste buds salivate Reservation is necessary.  

You would expect to pay a lot more for this dining experience.

10min drive from l'Hotel de Hercé, a classic firmly established French Restaurant. Isabelle & Bruno Coupé welcome you to their gastronomic institution with a welcoming friendly atmosphere Their motto: conviviality and the pleasures of the table. A popular local destination when you need good Italian food, we really enjoyed our Pizza & the Anti Pasta entrees looked fantastic. Think thin crusts, fresh real Italian toppings cooked in an authentic wood-fired pizza oven. Enjoy!

Our Review:

The chef will delight your taste buds by preparing fresh beautifully presented and gourmet dining. A great wine list and the Bill dor dinner recently was €34 pp for 3 courses and wine. The waterfront location is lovely, and the best value evening dining in Mayenne. Just 7 min stroll from L'Hotel de Herce. Seasonal menu made from fresh, seasonal products.

Our Review:

10min drive from l'Hotel de Hercé, the restaurant part of the hotel La Marjolaine. Upmarket traditional French dining, evening set menu's from €43.  We enjoyed the classic dining room and service, and the cheese trolly and deserts memorable experiences. booking is recommended. Outside summer dining is fabulous.
